Staying at the Inn was a refreshing place to rest after a long day at the hospital. My family and I have had many opportunities to stay at the Inn and experience its different room offerings. My favorite part of the continental breakfast is the great cereal made by the General Manager, Judy, who is a great host of the... more

March 22, 2008 A family visiting Emory University From the photos online, this inn appeared to have it all; spacious rooms, a quaint breakfast area and a great location for our Emory University visit. Looks can be deceiving. Our room down the street from the main building was indeed directly across from the Emory Law School and main campus. Great... more

These comments are worrysome to us. We have guest satisfaction practices in place to offer a guest that has a negative experience while our guest. Guest satisfaction is most important to us. We vallue the input so that we may address the issues.

wow, where do I even start....this place was pretty bad. I stopped by as part of nationwide interview tour, and this is hands down the worst place Ive stayed (and Ive been on a budget). I too was stuck in the guest house. real dump. not at all a guest house how you might imagine (think: roach motel, not key... more

We value input from our guests and would like the opportunity to address the issues. Cleanliness is extremely important. We have systems in place to address guest satisfaction issues . There is not one room that is the same at the Guest House and we often are complimented on those rooms, but understand that it is not for everyone. We...

Horrible stay...Was more like a seedy motel than a bed and breakfast. I was first given a room that was not located in the main building but down the street. It was basement level, the flourescent lights flickered on and off and there was a copious amount of rust in the bathroom. The bed nearly touched wall to wall. I... more

In the undulating hills that comprise Atlanta GA and at the edge of Emory University ( A southern University famous for its 5th ranked Emory U.Hospital) is Emory UNIVERSITY INN; it is a a glorified motel six; all doors open direct to open walkways; there is no elevator; the pool is drained, and ugly all year long; the terrace garden... more

Avoid this place, if you can. The University "Inn" is guilty of unethical advertising. It's not at all an inn, but rather a fair quality motel. Furthermore, on the first page of the website, it says, "Better Customer Service than the Ritz." This is a laughable lie that is complete false advertising. Our first night there, we stayed in the... more

The only reason to stay here is if you need to be within walking distance to Emory Law School or other facilities. Even then, you're probably better off going with one of the chain hotels with shuttle service to the surrounding areas. In short, you are much better off elsewhere. The University Inn has none of the charm of an... more

The University Inn is wonderful. The location is ideal on N. Decatur Road across the street from Emory University. The "Preferred Parent Program" has saved me a lot of money as I have traveled back and forth to Atlanta to take or pick up my student from Emory University. Breakfast and afternoon snacks are included in the rate which seems... more

DUMP! This hotel touts it self as a bed and breakfast. It is NOT! It’s a run down and dirty. It does however located right across of the Emory Law School and Hospital. This is the ONLY reason for its existence. Otherwise, no one in his or her right mind will pay $100 to stay there. The room was large... more

Visiting Emory, we thought this "Inn" costing us $100/room might have some charm but it didn't. The exterior was ugly and our rooms on the first floor were VERY damp and moldy smelling. Consequently, we won't stay here again, a shame because the rooms were huge and the man working at the front desk was very nice! more
