Stayed here in March during the SEC Basketball Tournament. Good quiet downtown location within walking distance of restaurants and the Georgia Dome. Excellent free breakfast with eggs, grits, hashbrowns, biscuits, toast, bagels, and many other excellent selections. Better than most free breakfast's I have tried. The staff was efficient and friendly. The only problem was the size of the rooms.... more

Just returned to the UK after a short break in Atlanta the main purpose of which was to take in a Billy Joel concert. Checked previous reviews for the BW and all seemed just right , position and price etc. Must say stay of 3 nights could not have been better we were allocated a suite on arrival and room... more

Excellent front desk staff. Fast, fun, friendly. I was surprised that the elevator/rooms open to the outdoors, more like an old-time Holiday Inn. Makes the room right by the elevators pretty noisy. Got assigned here by the convention bureau's room assignment committee. Good value, but I prefer a hallway/inside entry to my room. more

Hotel was very clean & comfortable. The staff was even better, southern hospitality at it's best. The front desk attendants even aknowledged I was a female staying alone and insisted they make me a new room key when arriving late at night. The complimentary breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel this size, I expected a small selection... more

No, this place is not the Ritz-Carlton - but it's inexpensive, and close to most of the downtown attractions. The room was sufficiently clean, the TV and hot water worked, and the staff was friendly enough. And as for me, that's what I look for. I guess some of the TripAdvisor contributors spend their entire trip in the room, and... more

I spent 3 nights in this place and had to move 4 times because : first room - toilet overflowed; second room - rained came through the light fixture in the bathroom; third room had a pool of water outside in front of the door after the rain and I didn't want to wade through it; fourth room - steady... more

If all you're looking for is a place to sleep and store your stuff this is wonderful. The rooms are small, but we weren't staying there all day. There is a complementary hot breakfast every morning. Quite a spread given that it's free. And Mon - Thur there's complementary happy hour. We stay there every year for DragonCon (sci-fi convention)... more

Starting with messed up room assignment. Card Keys now working, on 3rd set they worked. No bathtub, and a very poor shower. Our car was blocked in by a staffmember that couldn't be found for over an hour. Room was not clean. The looks of the room you would think it was being rented by the hour. The view from... more

This hotel was OK – we had to change rooms and then had problems trying to get into the second room so in the end the guy at the desk came up and helped. There was secure underground parking at the hotel at a charge of $10 per day – you can just park on the street to check in... more

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while visiting Atlanta. I decided on this hotel after reading the reviews and seeing the hotel's proximity to the attractions we were going to see -- the aquarium, the zoo, Underground Atlanta, and the Hard Rock Cafe. The hotel was close enough to the aquarium and the Hard Rock that we were... more
