I just returned from a weekend stay at the Residence Inn Atlanta Midtown Historic. I met up with some college girlfriends for a reunion. A couple of the girls live in Atlanta and suggested that those of us from out of town look for a hotel in Midtown Atlanta. There are definitely swankier places to stay, but I didn't think... more

I selected this hotel because of the good reviews on Trip Advisor. There are good and bad points about staying here. The good - the staff is very helpful and kind, there is free food and wine in the evening and the atmosphere is very homey. Tne bad - it is a bit noisy outside, you'll need the airplugs they... more

I spent Monday night and Wednesday night in this beautiful hotel (was called away to Knoxville on Tuesday), so I was able to experience two rooms. As someone who spends a lot of time on the road, I can honestly say that I've never gotten a better night's sleep . Most Residence Inns are very sterile with horribly thin walls.... more

This was supposed to be my anniversary gift from my boss. I checked in on Valentine's Day. My heat was taking a long time to turn on so we left and when we got back that night after a nice concert, it still was not working and so we had to get the guy from the front desk to bring... more

The service at this property is lukewarm - definetly hot and cold. One minute you encounter a very helpful persson and then 5 minutes later you ecounter apathy! The rooms are HUGE, although they are in need of a re-do. The location in midtown cannot be beat, especially with the MARTA 1/2 block away. Oh but the noise. In our... more

I had booked a room with 2 queen and 1 rollaway on a Friday night this month and it was perfect! The room was at least 1000 square feet, like an apartment that came with a full kitchen and balcony. This room was on the 5th floor and it was great. The room was only $159.00/night!! That's good for Midtown.... more

Booked based on location and reviews here on Trip Advisor. The room wasn't overly large but was clean, quite, and provided an excellent location to get anywhere in atlanta. I had read reports of loud noise (ear plugs were included in the room)- but did not hear any noise what so ever. I even stayed on a friday and saturday... more

It's true: I booked this hotel through Priceline.com! I actually book most of my trips through Priceline. However, I've noticed a growing trend, not just with the Residence Inn Atlanta Midtown / Historic, but with other accommodations throughout the U.S. Here's an example: When I checked into the Residence Inn Atlanta Midtown / Historic, the front desk clerk confirmed that... more

I stayed at this hotel for the Veteran's Day weekend. The hotel is just a few blocks from MARTA. I would recommend taking MARTA from the airport....so easy. It is $2.25 for a one-way trip. Cab fare is $30 plus tip. The Rooms are very spacious and clean. My room had a great kitchen area with a stove, dishwasher and... more

I stayed in a Studio Nov 2-4 after using my Marriott Reward points to cover the cost (would have been 129 dollars per night). I stayed in Room 706 (top floor) which faces the parking lot, field and nearby residential condos. GETTING TO HOTEL: I landed in Atlanta at 8:10pm so I was alittle nervous about using the MARTA train... more
