We stayed here on the 4th of July for one night. It is clean, comfortable, and close to everything. Front desk was polite and helpful. It is an EconoLodge so the sheets are thin and there are no amenities like soap in the bathroom, but 80 dollars for a holiday night is great. Important thing is clean, quiet and comfortable! more

Pros: Clean. Shower and bathroom were clean. The only that was kind of iffy was between the tv and piece of paper that tells the channels was a little "gooey" or stick, but overall clean. Cons: Breakfast. I guess you could say they try, kind of. Toast, English muffins, some mini muffins, apple juice, coffe, and soft boiled eggs. That's... more

We arrived about 11:00 p.m. The office was closed but, they taped our keys to the door of the office. I had booked two rooms because there were 5 of us. The hotel was off a quiet street of a neighborhood. The room was very clean however, a little small. For the night it was fine for a quick one night... more

Traveling with 2 children under 2, we were at first hesitant about booking such a inexpensive hotel room. But we wanted to spend our hard-earned money on visiting places such as Mt. Rushmore and not want to waste in on useless amenities as gyms, spas or free high speed internet that most hotels offer nowadays. We spent 11 hours on... more

After reading the other reviews I felt i needed to share my experience. This is a cheap hotel chain for value minded guests so people be advised ...if you expect someone to carry your luggage or serve you up a four course breakfast you are not going to find it here it is after all an econo lodge. If you want... more

My Mom, a senior citizen and I stayed here Sept 24-29 2006. The room we had was a senior citizen room on the first floor, soft comfy double beds and an amplified phone with giant numbers on it. The room is small but all we needed was somewhere to sleep. I chose the Econlodge because the price was under 55.00... more

Our family stayed at the Mount Rushmore Econolodge in Keystone, SD for two nights in mid-Sept. At first sight, the hotel is a little scary. We were expecting a little more. However, we went inside to view the rooms and were pleasantly surprised. It is VERY clean. There is an indoor heated pool and hot tub. There is a little... more

During the 4th of July week, we experience car trouble and we were stranded in Wyoming, attempting to get to Keystone, 1300 miles from home. I phoned to explain we couldn't possibly get there for the night. They refused to cancel the reservation. For $150, we never slept there. more

We "happened into" staying here due to an overbooking nightmare at the Holiday Inn Express. Thanks to the relatively new managing couple, Denise and Brad, a really lousy situation turned out to be a good thing. We started with a suite, which is very large with two queens and a sitting area with a TV, microwave, small fridge, etc. Unfortunatley,... more
