Just returned from a 3-night stay at the Viscount Suite Hotel. We were in Tucson for my daughter's U of A orientation, so not here for a vacation. I say that b/c if this had been a vacation, I would have stayed at an actual resort, but the Viscount filled the bill for our needs....i.e. clean, comfortable, in relatively good... more
Could have been better. I loved the free hot breakfast buffet which was great, but the hotel itself was only so-so. The free wireless internet did not get a signal in my room and the rooms thumblatch on my door was missing. Worst of all there seemed to be several blood colored spots on my sheet. I don't know if... more
I enjoyed my week stay at Viscount very much. Although a bit pricey- the rooms are showing their wear very much- the room was overall very clean, the food was awesome- and the staff was Above average. If the price was a little lower and the rooms redone, this would be a 4 star hotel. Maybe they will update the... more
Stay away from this place. This used to be one of the nicer hotels in Tucson back in the late 80’s. This place is now a dump. My non-smoking room had cigarette burns and stains all over the carpet, bedspreads, and curtains. The shower had such low water flow that I felt like I was in a third world country.... more
We stayed at the Viscount Suites when we were in Tucson for a University of Arizona football game. We are convinced that the Viscount Suites were once an Embassy Suites; the hotel is showing its age. We have no complaints with the stay except the hotel is shopworn. The furnishings are dated and show signs of heavy use. The suites... more
Staff was great, my relatives turned me on to this hotel and what a bargain! The free breakfast each morning was fantastic and the staff was helpful and friendly. We will stay there again when we visit Tucson! more
I don't understand how this hotel can: 1.) stay in business 2.) charge $200.00 a night Let's put aside their run-of-the-mill problems (no towels on day 2, poor cleaning service, keys that don't work, terrible food) and focus on their customer service. My employer paid for the hotel. However, he was unavailable when I booked the hotel so they put... more
We booked our vacation in Tucson through orbitz and received a last minute special rate. We were surprised at the size of the suites and that the breakfast is way more than a continental. It was a special occasion so I arranged some special items to be placed in the suite prior to arrival... Dan in sales was most helpfull... more
First, the only reason I am giving this hotel two 'stars' is that the staff was very polite. I don't consider myself to be a hotel snob, but I do expect my rooms to be very clean and well-maintained and when they are not, I feel I should share that information. Based on the room that I had on the... more
