We booked the Windmill because the price was decent ($99 dollars American for a room with a king size bed) -- and because we had read the hotel offered bicycles for its guests! I was very pleasantly surprised by the staff at the Windmill Inn. They were truly delightful and very helpful. They can also bake a mean cookie. I found the lobby to be a nice size and was comforted to see that it was well maintained and clean. The elevator is a little small but I didn't have long to wait.... more

Pleasantly surprised to find a decent-sized refrigerator and good sized bathroom, disappointed with lack of outlets in the bedroom. Basically everything thing else, everyone said. As others have noted already, customer service is a strong point of the Windmill. Friendly front desk staff definitely makes a difference.
