There were mostly positives, but some disappointing negatives: Positives: + Beautiful scenery/surroundings and well-kept grounds + Nice views from some rooms + Nice pool areas and a fun water slide! + Spacious room, relaxing balcony + $60 + SPG points is a great deal, 10K SPG points alone is probably not worth it Negatives: - At reservation time, we requested... more

This hotel needs a major overhaul. Our room on the 2nd level (500s) was pleasantly large, but the decor was painfully dated. Reagan-era touches, a crispy beige wall phone by the toilet--earnest intentions hopelessly faded. What makes me want to write a review was the smell: dank, old and sour. Is it ancient wallpaper paste? Paint? Old fabrics? It almost... more

My first cup of coffee on Saturday was fine. However, the second cup of coffee on Sunday morning gave me a terrible stomach ache and nausea. I noticed one of the half&half package looked lumpy but did not expect it to be bad. We scheduled to check out 4pm on Sunday but decided to leave early because I was not... more

Thank you for your comments and I am sorry to hear that you did not feel well while you were here. It is great to hear that your children enjoyed the pool and slide and that the staff was friendly and polite. We hope that you will give us another chance and stay once again at La Paloma William Petrella...

I stayed for one night during their discounted off-season on Aug 12. This time of year it is slow in town. I live only 15 mins. away and I needed some "me time" and a change of scenery. I combined my Starwood Points with $60 for a nice, quiet room. The room as clean. The room service was prompt and... more

We had an extremely pleasant stay at the Westin La Paloma in late July 2008. The service was outstanding, our room was very nice and large, the landscaping gorgeous. Pluses: The adult pool is awesome. Guys help move umbrellas as the suns moves throughout the day. Cold water is available by every pool. The gym/health center is big with plenty... more

We have stayed at the Westin many times over the years as a good in town getaway. We stayed a few days this time and I was disappointed in the room and especially the pools. The rooms need a face-lift and our heavenly bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. We even moved the 2nd day and the bed in the... more

After a very positive reception and check-in from a helpful front desk person, things went downhill as we entered our room in the Starwood Preferred section of building A. Although the view overlooking the golf course was nice, the room had a very damp, heavy, musty odor to it,. I wonder when the last time the air conditioning ducts were cleaned?... more

Thank you very much for posting your comments. I appreciate your kind words regarding our front desk staff. They work extremely hard to create a memorable first impression on our guests. I apologize that they rest of your stay was not up the same standards. They will certainly be addressed to ensure a positive experience for all future guests.

We stayed at the hotel for 7nights. The buffet breakfast was $19.98 and very very poor.No omlette station and the cost was an additional $3.00 on top of the buffet price if you wanted one.Scrambled eggs, and waffles were your only hot choice. Hotel was quite a distance from the airport.$50.00 for the taxi from the hotel to airport..$100.00 r/t.Get a... more

Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to post your comments. We’re disappointed to hear that our breakfast buffet and guestroom did not exceed your expectations as they have for so many other guests. However, we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed our wonderful pools. We certainly take your comments very seriously, and we hope that your...

my family stayed there for three nights, July 8-11, and absolutely loved it and would get back in a second. The staff is excellent, the room great, the pools awesome. The bartenders at the swim up bar were great, the IT Director who we met and spoke with for a little but sent our family a bottle of wine and... more

This is our second stay at the Tucson Westin. We were here a week each time. The property is lovely and located near shopping. The resort will take you for free if you are without a car. The rooms were large, the bathrooms were as well with tiled showers and a tub for your use. There are many pools but... more

Thank you very much for the compliments about our resort! Janos/JBar are certainly wonderful dining experiences, and I am glad you had the opportunity to enjoy them.
