This was the first port of call on our two weeks vacation touring New England and it certainly set the standard for judging others. We booked two rooms the Rebbecca Nurse room and the Elizabeth Howe room for two nights, both rooms were tastefully decorated and immaculate with beautiful fittings and fluffy towels, we couldn't have wished for anything better.... more

We traveled to the northeast this summer and spent 8 days visiting Maine, NH and Mass. One of our last stops was at the Morning Glory B&B in Salem. What a beautifully appointed place....seconded only by the outstanding hospitality of owner, Bob Shea. Our room & bath was so clean and pretty and it's as if the sign outside said:... more

While we only stayed 2 days at The Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast, it was the most enjoyable stay we've had anywhere. Our host saw to our every need which helped us to enjoy Salem all the more. If a return trip is in our future, we would not stay anywhere else. The Elizabeth Howe room was beautiful and spacious... more

This was a delightful place to stay. Bob was so accommodating and friendly that we would go there again and recommend it to others as well. Our room was very large and had a nice full bathroom attached. Everything was spotless and the breakfast was outstanding! The location was very good as well, it is in a wonderful location in... more

This place is a gem. It is quaint and charming establishment, with nice antiques, large rooms and impeccably clean. It is perfectly situated, close enough to downtown to walk and far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle. The view from the roof deck is gorgeous and you can eat breakfast on there or in the garden. Bob and... more

The Morning Glory Bed and Breakfast was a beautiful place to stay. Bob and Marcel were gracious and friendly hosts. The inn was absolutely charming and the Sarah Good Suite was private, comfortable and spacious. The location was great and it was fun being next door to the House of the Seven Gables. The breakfasts were delicious and elegantly presented.... more

When we arrived Marcel told us our room was ready even though we were early. We stayed in the Elizabeth Howe Room where Bob was waiting. He told us all the attractions that would interest us. The room was just large enough for all we needed. We had our own enterance and balcony. Our SUV never moved from the back... more

We have just returned from a stay at the Morning Glory Bed and Breakfast in Salem, Ma. My husband and I stayed one night on a small "escape" from our life at home. We have four beautiful children, but needed a bit of time to reconnect. When we arrived at Morning Glory we were greeted by our gracious host. He... more

My husband and I just finished a week and a half tour of some of the towns along the coast of Massachusetts and Maine. We began our trip with a two night stay at the Morning Glory Bed and Breakfast. Everything about our stay was fantastic. The house will be 200 years old soon and is in excellent condition. The... more

We spent 3 wonderful nights at this gem in Salem, MA. Great location - on a quiet side street across from The House of Seven Gables, just steps from all the restaurants, shops and attractions Salem has to offer. Beautifully decorated and clean as a whistle. We had the entire top floor - the Sarah Good suite - with bedroom,... more
