Stayed at Rancho Jacona for 5 nights - and it was just fantastic - we had meetings in Santa Fe - and on reflection were thrilled to have chosen such a great spot within reach of the city but in another world totally...........for our last couple of days our young daughter who usually wants one event after another announced she... more

If you're looking for a place that's quiet and full of personality, Rancho Jacona is the place for you. Situated about 20 miles north of Santa Fe just outside of Pojoaque, the compound of eleven properties gives you the feeling of home without all the work. Each casita contains its own kitchen, complete with cookware and utensils, as well as... more

This marks our fourth family reunion at Rancho Jacona. The ambience and privacy has been enjoyed by all. Your private home is extremely clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated.. Every home has a well equipped kitchen, plenty of linens and home amentities. One only has to take the time to enjoy the beautifully maintained gardens, and relaxing pool. The children... more

Outstanding location for scientists visiting Los Alamos National Laboratory and for travelers who want to enjoy the Santa Fe area. I have returned to Jacona again and again in all four seasons for 15 years, generally for week long durations, sometimes longer. Why? Checking in and checkout could not be any easier or quicker, the casitas are admirably clean, the... more

Casual, authentic stay in one of the first ranchos in the region. Attention paid to aesthetic details in both design and the way they treat you. A memorable experience close to Santa Fe. more

I recently returned from a stay at Rancho Jacona. I've stayed there so many times that I've lost count. I try to get there twice a year. It's an easy drive from Boulder, Colorado. Why do I keep going back? There are many reasons, but primarily it's because it's so relaxing and peaceful there. I enjoy the quiet and beauty.... more

Our most recent stay at Rancho Jacona was as magical as always. We have been staying there for 20 years and find the beauty of the casitas, gardens, and views to the mountains food for our souls. Do not worry about the twenty minute drive into Santa Fe - just consolidate the things you want to do in town. As... more

My husband and I have been staying at Rancho Jacona for many years. It was an automatic choice for me as a teacher to book their lodging when I took a group of students to Santa Fe both in 2006 and 2008. Anna helps in ways "beyond the call of duty". The entire staff is friendly and very accommodating. The... more

We have stayed at Rancho Jacona during weeks at the Santa Fe Opera for seven or eight summers. It is built around a hacienda on a Spanish land grant within the Pojoaque Reservation north of Santa Fe, going back as many years as memory runneth. Some of the units are modernized out-buildings with very thick walls and roofs (which we... more

We had a wonderful Labor Day holiday at Rancho Jacona. It is one of the few places we have stayed that felt like home--we did not want to leave. We took our two Corgi dogs, who just loved visiting with the ranch animals (on leash, of course). The casitas are relatively private. We enjoyed the pool, walks in the countryside,... more
