Once again the Patel family has let a good place run down into the ground. The remote did not work, Door broken on TV hutch, missing safety chain on the door. Mold in the bathroom. missing caulking causing loose tiles. dripping faucets. All this for $100.00! The only good thing about the place was the staff at the registration desk.... more

Initial on approaching the motel impression was good. We were upgraded to "Antique" room and was shown a picture of 4 poster bed. This was nothing like the room we were actually given - 2 double beds which were shabby as was the room itself, although it appeared clean. There was a fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board in the... more

This hotel was pretty much consistent with my other experiences at Days Inns across the country. It was clean enough, and well-maintained enough, but is not what most people would consider a "nice" property. The pool seemed pretty nice (again, for a Days Inn) but I didn't actually try it out myself. The free breakfast was "there", but nothing to... more

I stayed here with my wife and two kids after visiting Luray Caverns. As other have noted, there isn't a whole lot of choice for lodging in the area. We requested a non-smoking room. It REEKED of smoke. Which was no surprise, because there were ashes pushed into the corners of the bathroom. Perhaps the housekeeping staff were afraid to... more

While making my reservation on the phone, the lady stated that we needed to cancel 24 hours prior to our stay at the hotel, otherwise there would be a "cancelation fee". On the day of our reservation, after having a wonderful time in Luray, we called to cancel because we had an emergency which we had to attend to at... more

We had 2 adjoining rooms. Front desk check in/out was a snap, lady at desk was nice & friendly. The rooms were clean and updated but the bathrooms were FILTHY! Mildew on the shower and ceiling. Dirty floors in the bathroom. It was strange because the pool was nice & clean and the rooms were clean. But the bathrooms........NASTY. If... more

We stayed at this Days Inn because of it's location - near Shenandoah National Park. Given the area there just aren't many choices but I certainly wouldn't recommend staying here. The room smelled bad - like burning trash and it was just plain dirty! There was a crusty substance on the bed rail that I really don't want to think... more

I suppose that when you are looking for a place to sleep, this one will do. For $125 (with AAA discount) we got the "Jacuzzi Suite" - as it was the last non-smoking room available on a Saturday afternoon - which I guess is called a "suite" because there is a love seat in the room. Not really sure why,... more

Hotel in a good location. Requested a new room because first smell of cigs. Had to pick up several dead bugs in bathroom. Newer furniture was nice. more

This motel sits on a large property with lots of grass on the outskirts of Luray. There was an odd smell to the room, though not smoke. The decor is quite old-fashioned. We appreciated the minifridge/microwave, as well as the two sinks to speed up getting ready in the morning. There was only one chair in the room for the... more
