This was my experience: 1. Booking - easy; centralized; good rental car package deal, which I took. Nice big leather-seated car. 2. Room - sweeping views of Sitka Harbor and Sound. relatively high up. Clean. Quiet. Looks like recent remodeling or well maintained, at least my room was. 3. The WestMark was right on the water and near the boats, Bars, Shops and food. The Pour House is a Non smoking bar with a ton of history and then theres the Pioneer, which is a smoking bar with tons of history. We had a room with a great view of the water and mountains! The room was clean and spacious. The location was also great, right downtown. Make sure that they turn on the calling feature in your phone so that you can make calls if you choose to. They don't have a shuttle to and from the airport/ferry, but you... more
