This hotel is overpriced. Have been to Medora many times, this was the first and last time we will stay at this hotel. In all honesty we will stay in Dickinson and drive over for the day the next time we go to Medora (or take the camper). No fridge, noisy A/C. We understand that it is a tourist area... more

I guess at AmericInn at Medora, "Do Not Disturb" means run the vacuum in front of the door and yell at each other over the vacuum. Housekeeping is not great, the noise between rooms is reduced but with automatic slamming doors it does not matter, and the basic breakfast fare is sugar, starch, starch and sugar with low fat milk.... more

This is the only chain hotel in town. Be forwarned that in a town of 100 the carpet gets rolled up early. There are no fast food restuarants, not grocery stores (nearest is 15 miles away), only one gas station and one bank. If you are looking for isolation this is it.
