The Elmwood Inn does not really qualify as a B&B if you define “&” as meaning both “Bed” and “Breakfast”. Karen, the inn keeper told us that since there are many places in the neighborhood that serve breakfast, she wanted to get away from this and only prepared a few muffins and a zucchini bread, no OJ or anything else.... more

Many issues.... -Very very noisy. Both from street traffic and interior walls have very little insulation. Inn keeper attempts to address this issue by providing ear plugs. -Although Inn is clean. Inn keeper only provides limited daily room service i.e. does not remove dirty dishes, empty garbage can etc. -Although there is a kitchenette whereby to make coffee at anytime.... more

Nicely decorated and amply furnished, including candles with matches. Owner, Karen was friendly and helpful. Armoire in second floor hall had tooth paste, mouth wash, razors, q-tips etc, etc. available should you need them. Walking distance... more
