We have visited many parts of the USA and many other parts of the world and this is certainly one of the worst if not the worst hotel in which we have ever stayed. Firstly we were given the wrong room and but this was questioned by the management until I produced a copy of the email the hotel had... more

Although my review is a little late in coming , I felt it necessary as my stay at this inn was fabulous (~_~) . Best location in Newport. Close to beach, restos and shopping, delightful!! Upon arrival we were greeted very warmly. Staff is very professional and adequate. We were shown to our room which was superb, very spacious, great... more

I stayed here with a friend in July 2008. The location is really great- it's a pretty and quiet street, about a mile from the beach and a short walk to Thames St. The location is definitely the best selling point. The staff wasn't overly friendly- it's definitely more of a mini-hotel than a traditional B&B. My friend and I... more

The most atmospheric inn I've ever stayed at, the Inn at Bellevue is a time machine to nineteenth century gentility. A gorgeous old Victorian house, whisper quiet, beautifully decorated, I've stayed there twice a year for several years and kick myself for not having discovered it sooner. The location is terrific too. It's across the street from the old Hotel... more

After a small mixup upon check-in (the room we requested was not available,) the hotel managers impressed us by very kindly accommodating us. The location is terrific (walking distance to tons of restaurants, bars, and shops), the hotel is an older inn but very clean, and the breakfast was excellent. We stayed in a room with a large, immaculate jacuzzi... more

We booked a stay at the Inn on Bellevue for this past Valentines weekend 2008. Hoping for a relaxing weekend we got just the opposite, one thing after the other went wrong. First the keys did not work, then the toilet broke, spilling soiled liquid all over the bathroom floor, the hot water did not work and worst of all,... more

The house keeper checked the hot water shortly after the couple left and it was working fine. She got nice hot steamy water!. The wife called the front desk the night they checked in and asked for the heat to be turned up. The clerk advised there was a thermostat on the wall and that she could control it. We...

We stayed at this Inn on New Year's Eve and we enjoyed not only the area where the Inn was located, but the Inn itself was very comfortable. It had a European feel, and had great history. We think in addition to all of that, the people that ran and worked in the hotel made our stay even more enjoyable.... more

We stayed at the Inn at Bellevue with our two-year-old and 6 month old boys. We were travelling to town in the high season and really wanted more of a suite so we didn't have to go to bed at 8 o'clock with the boys. Anything like that at one of the pricey hotels would have been at least $500... more

This is to the traveler who stayed in room 15 with the Jacuzzi we were at 95% with renovations. For the festival we were full. For walk-ins we just have one room available and this is why we discounted. Sorry for your bad experience. In 2008 we will finish all renovations. Owner Inn on Bellevue
