Me and my girlfriends visited Hawaii in August of 2008....First of all, if your travel agent tells you that this is a "CONDO STYLE" apartment that accomodates 5 people- THAT IS A LIE! This place really sucked- I mean really....Every morning, the hallways stunk like fish- this is no joke- We had to wait for the elevator minimum 7 minutes... more

So there were 8 of us in 3 rooms. We had to switch rooms a total of 7 times. Reasons: Bedbugs, which bit my brother-in-law on the neck, back and arms, Cockroaches freely coming and going despite us being extra careful not leaving food/garbage bags open (yes I did tie the garbage bag most of the time, but did not... more

I had read good and bad reviews when we booked this hotel as a package along with our flight. I was traveling with my daughter, son-in-law, and their 2 toddlers. I was hoping the Waikiki Sunset would meet my family's expectations. It was our first trip to Waikiki. I usually avoid touristy areas like Waikiki, but we were there to... more

I checked into the ResoertQuest Sunset on July 13. My family and I stayed at the property through July 20. I had many apprehensions about staying at this property. The source of those apprehensions was this form. As a husband and father it is my job to provide for the safety and well being of my family, therfore my concern.... more

I went with my parents and sister. From the pictures on Expedia, we were expecting a slightly nicer hotel, but it wasn't too bad. We were on the 30th floor, so the views of the ocean and diamond head were spectacular. However, the booking got really screwed up. Our room was supposed to have 2 queen beds and a pull... more

A vacation in Oahu with 3 kids can be exphensive - far more than Mexico or the Carribean where an all-inclusive can save you money. This hotel had an extensive list of amenities that made staying with a family affordable. FULL kitchen, private bedroom for mom and dad etc. The beds were possibly new (?) the hide-a-bed wasn't so great... more

After spending way too much time trying to decide on a hotel for our first trip to Hawaii, I was happy with the choice. Very large rooms with a seperate bedroom (not just a 1/2 wall but a real room with a door), loiving area with sleeper sofa and kitchen/bar as well as a patio balcony. Very efficent check in... more

Where to start...first, we had 12 people in our party - ok, so we get our two rooms. I requested at the time of booking that I would like two rooms with two F/Q beds and a sofa bed to accomodate all the people in our party. When we get to our rooms, one room had one King bed and... more

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at this hotel with our 3 kids. It was the worst experience I've every had. One night when we came in late, my oldest daughter saw a COCKROACH running in the middle of our room! We called the help desk but just completely ignored us. For the last two days of our... more

Aloha Flipper 2008, First of all, congratulations on the celebration of your 20th anniversary. Mahalo for your candid remarks about your recent experience while staying with us. We take these comments very seriously to improve our guest service and experience. My apology about finding a roach in the room. We do a quarterly pest control program throughout all of our...
