We just returned from a week at the Sheraton Waikiki. The hotel was very nice and the central location was great. The room was new and clean. The views were spectacular. The elevators were fast. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. more

So, on our honeymoon to Hawaii, since we had to fly in and out of Honolulu, we decided to spend 4 nights in Waikiki and chose the Sheraton because it's one of only a few hotels right on the beach. Pros: Newly renovated rooms were clean and there was a flat screen tv on the wall. We had an oceanview... more

This is a big resort with a spectacular location and amenities that are good enough to keep it competitive. Pros: location (on the beach, in the epicenter of Waikiki) meant there were tons of folks around. There's a real buzz to the place, even if it's a bit manufacturered, centered around shopping and contrived resort activities. It's a big hotel... more

We came here with discount rates as part of a group so room choice wasn't part of the deal. You could tell too because our view wasn't very good. (see pictures) We had a recently renovated room that had too much of that feng shui crap. Sure, it looked cool but it wasn't functional. The chairs were uncomfortable. The desk... more

Not bad for a Sheraton which can be rundown sometimes. This one was recently renovated and was pretty clean. Accessible to beach, in the heart of Waikiki, a decent value. Staff friendly and accommodating. more

I'll preface this review as it's very much influenced by my overall view of Waikiki which was...average. Granted, it's beautiful...but so are a lot of other places. My biggest disappointment w. this hotel was the unhelpful concierge staff who had no suggestions nor were very courteous. Overall, I found the hotel staff to be overall pretty non-friendly and SLOW. The... more

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki in August of 2007 for our first wedding Anniversary. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for that historic Waikiki view at a good price. Our room was recently rennovated and extremely clean with very comfortable beds. It was spacious and had a small fridge in the room -- empty... more

We just returned from a 5 night stay at the Sheraton Waikiki. There were 7 girls - 3 cousins (well over 39...) and our daughers (ages 26-31). We had one suite and 2 other rooms, all with ocean view balconies. The rooms were lovely and the view couldn't be beat. This trip to Honolulu, Hawaii was a first for all... more

Positives: Location of the hotel is second to none in Waikiki. Staff was very helpful and competent. Oceanview room was something straight from any brochure. If your looking for relaxation or adventure, it can be obtained at this hotel. Something for all ages. Negatives: Not much of a beach. Better off swimming in the Pacific because the pools are very... more

We stayed at the Sheraton as part of a group of out-of-town hotel guests for a local wedding. The group rate they arranged ($150) was fantastic for the location especially since we were all upgraded to oceanview rooms. Waikiki is not my type of beach in that it is narrow, crowded, and overdevelopped but I was a little disenchanted that... more
