Hotel Solemare was wonderful- a very nice 3*. The view from the balcony was fantastic, the room was newly redone and the staff was very helpful. Tripadvisor is definitely correct that this is the best place to stay in Bonifacio. ps: Book a suite if you can. The rooms are twice the size and have two balconies instead of one. more

This was a great choice. I highly recommend choosing the Solemare if you are staying in Bonifacio. It appears to be the only hotel on the harbor with balconies, which are fantastic posts for people watching and soaking up some sun. The rooms are small, but clean and sufficient if you'll be out exploring most of the day. more

It was fine but... it was definitely on the pricier side and nothing about it overly impressed us. I was very surprised to see that they charged for breakfast ( I believe 15 euro per person) which was definitely not worth it.
