We stayed at Whales and Dolphins in february for three nights. We were agreably surprised by the hotel! The views from the pool and bar are really spectacular! Pool is great, the rooms look brand new, beds are confortable, there is a mini bar, sat tv, efficient AC and a balcony with excellent views where you can watch the sunset.... more

This place is nice and is only going to get better. The view of Playa Ballena is absolutely amazing and the rooms are nice. When we arrived in April 2005, there was one other couple in the entire hotel. They left the next night, and we had the whole place to ourselves. If it wasn't for the view, I would have left too. The rooms were clean but the pool is need of some upkeep. They advertise free local calls but there is only one phone and that is in the reception area.
