We were a party of four, three adults and one child. We stayed here our first and last nights in Nova Scotia and it was perfect for us. We had a two floor suite with three separate bedroom areas (one was a murphy bed in the living room...perfectly comfortable). Our room (355) had a huge balcony, perfect for star gazing... more

OK , we were there during a rainy season but......perhaps it is spectacular in the warm summer months. This place is right on the water, with it's own private beach not open to the public. The restaurant is fantastic! The rooms are average. There is a large Sobey's just down the road, as well as a Tim Horton's, McDonalds, and a pharmacy right across the street. It's about 10 minutes from Halifax, and close to the airport. more

Hotel selection near the Halifax airport is not good. However rather than driving into downtown Halifax for a hotel prior to our airport departure the following day, we booked at the Inn of the Lake.
