Having read the reviews on Trip Advisor prior to our visit (it was book by a travel agent as part of a 4 week trip to S.A) I was a bit worried about what we would find here, but what a very pleasant surprise! The scenery is stunning. We must have been very lucky with our room because we couldn't... more

We stayed at the Hosteria for four nights in March, 2008. The place was chosen by our tour company, Fantastico Sur, which specializes in birding tours. We had a car with driver and a very good naturalist guide. We spent one day fully in the gorgeous park proper and two others driving in the extreme east end of the park... more

I made a reservation for four nights. To confirm my reservation I sent them my credit card number. When I arrived there I realized that the hotel doesn't have TV and fridge in the room. It's really a very simple room, although it costs from U$ 190 to U$ 300 per night. Internet also doesn't have and phone calls costs... more

Torres Del Paine it’s located in Patagonia and it’s a place to rest, enjoy the nature and explore one of the most relaxing “natural Experiences”. We do not have a TV in the room; or any supermarket close to the hotel – or the national park. The closes town is 2 hours away. I think it’s important to take some...

A generally good looking Hosteria in a beautiful location, but, for us a poor choice for a stay in the Torres del Paine National Park. We stayed in the family room with our children (9 & 8 years old) - 2 interconnecting rooms with a bathroom. Very disappointed with the (standard) rooms - cramped, thin walled, poorly furnished and in... more

For Season 2008 /2009 the hotel will not offer standard rooms anymore. The dinner has also changed to a Menu of hot dishes (3 or 4 quality options) and salad / dessert buffet. Regional and typical food is been offer in every Menu to give our clients the best experience in Patagonia. We strongly recommend to all travelers to book...

After a lot of research of options to stay within the park, I wanted to do all inclusive. Explora was full - and twice the price of the all-inclusive at Hosteria. So I decided to do the all inclusive at Hosteria despite the mixed reviews on TripAdvisor. You do need to remember that you are about a 5 hour drive... more

This place is expensive--we paid around $300 USD for a pretty basic room. This seems exorbitant, but to be fair, this seems in line with costs of other lodging within Torres del Paine national park. Our room was clean, and the service was quite good. We particularly appreciated their holding on to our bags while we went to do a... more

You don't have many options to stay in Torres del Paine, if you don't want to walk the ' W' and sleep in tents or a refugee. One of the best options is Hosteria las Torres. The location is the best in the park, nearby the nicest track of the park (to the Torres). But this hotel couldn't ask these... more

First off, I wish TripAdvisor would move this hotel into the Torres del Paine location category. The corporate office and call center may be down south in Puntas Arenas, but the hotel is in the park, hours away. For our visit to Torres del Paine, my wife and I decided to bite the bullet and go with the Hosteria Las... more

What a shame that a hotel in such a wonderful location should offer such sub-standard accommodation. We were in one standard and one 'superior' room and they were both very basic indeed: dark and with very little room: two cases hardly fitted inside the standard room with no drawers or wardrobes. We were told that they were due for renovation:... more

We went as part of a tour so I can't comment on the prices. The hosteria is like lodges in US national parks - you are paying for the location. The hosteria is very, very clean and well maintained. Our room was adequate - we were there for the hiking, not luxury. The hiking is right out the door. It... more
