Our family of four (including two teenage daughters) spent a week at the West Bay Lodge. The location is just far enough from the beach to avoid the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk taking about 3 leisurely minutes. The proprietors, Celeste and Milos run a very tight ship. The facilities are comfortable and kept very clean. The... more

We found West Bay Lodge on Trip Advisor and booked a week there from 6/21/08-6/28/08. What a warm cozy place! We were in bungalow 5, and had a firm but comfortable bed, excellent A/C, great shower, little kitchen with microwave/fridge, TV with DVD player and lots of movies to choose from. The lodge is in a lush tropical garden (like... more

Roatan, Roatan. Wherefore art thou Roatan? Okay, so this review is LONG OVERDUE!! Quite honestly my stay in Roatan is hard to put into words - surreal, life-changing, other-worldly, amazing are a few that come to mind. What a fantastic little hidden gem... I can only hope that my lovely little island will maintain some of it's 'to the core'... more

An excellent lodge run by a very friendly couple who make all their guests feel like part of the family . The rooms are stylish and comfortable and each cabin has its own verandah and hammock. There's a different breakfast for each day of the week and every single one is outstanding - definitely the best breakfasts we had in... more

Our stay at West Lodge was very good. We enjoyed the bungalows and the breakfast was great. We stayed the week after New Year's Day and the weather was horrible. It is amazing how the weather really does affect your opinion on a place. We went diving at Anthony's Dive Resort - good place. We also went on the Shark... more

We enjoyed our stay at West Bay Lodge so much in 2007 that we went back for a quick 10 day trip in April. In fact, our vacation was planned around the availability of a bungalow at WBL. They book up fast and no one wants to leave! The word is definitely out that WBL is the place to stay... more

My wife, my sister-in-law and I returned to West Bay Lodge in March of 2008. My wife and I spent a week there in June of 2007. Owners Milos and Celeste have improved on what seemed to already be perfect. We were treated as family more than customers. Celeste booked us a room at Bananarama for our first night because... more

The hustle and bustle of the urban 9-5 had pushed us to our limits. Based largely on the splendid reviews we read on TripAdvisor, we decided to spend a week in Roatan at the West Bay Lodge. As soon as we set foot on the property, we were surrounded by lush tropical plants, banana & avocado trees, and mosquitos! But... more

My wife, 2 boys (6 and 3) and I stayed at the West Bay Lodge and had a wonderful time. We found the owners Milos and Celeste to be the nicest, most accomodating, friendliest people we have ever stayed with. We would highly recommend this resort. Location: The resort is just down a dirt road from the most beautiful beach... more

I planned a 10 day trip to Roatan with the help of Trip Advisor. The reviews/comments posted gave such praise to this property & its owners. The reviews convinced me to make my reservations here. The descriptions & amenities of their bungalows were accurate. Everything was there. They always made sure we had everything we needed from towels to having... more
