We eat here any time we're in Victoria. It's not perfect: prices are on the high side for this city and service can suffer if the place is full, but consistently, visit after visit, we're impressed by the food and ambiance. Even tucked away down a dingy flight of stairs on a side street, this restaurant remains popular. more

My family and I were walking in downtown Victoria looking for Japanese Village Restaurant. We were about to walk away when we saw it because it was tucked away under a dirty building with garbage on the side when 2 people said "Hey, that place's fantastic!" We gave it a go and afterwards said "no". The chef was friendly but... more

A great little steakhouse. Awesome atmosphere, great service, amazing and fresh food. Dinner is a tad pricey, but lunch is a great price, although make sure to make reservations! more
