Classis Italian restaurant with three levels of dining: Restaurant, Grill, and Cellar Bar. I have been told that the three levels also come with three levels of pricing. The Cellar Bar is a usual haunt of mine - great value, great atmosphere, great polpette di baccala - oh why did you stop making olive ascolani? (I know, too fiddly and time consumung) I love Aldo the waiter too. more

Recently had lunch at the Cellar Bar and was dissapointed. We had the Gnocchi Gorgonzola which lacked flavour. They were really bland. We had to season with salt and pepper for them to be edible. The consistency of them was great but the lack of flavour was really disspointing. The service was also dissapointing. We had a very small table... more

Enjoyed a sensational meal here at the Penfold's Tasting night - food has to be very good to match up with a Grange, but Grossi Florentino didn't let us down. Downstairs is nice for a quick pre-theatre meal too. more
