Any time I want to treat myself without breaking the bank, I have breakfast at Lucile's. The Eggs Ponchartrain is my favorite, especially with a huge "melt-in-your-mouth" biscuit. The chicory coffee is as good as in New Orleans. more

This is probably my favorite breakfast place anywhere. It's actually an old victorian house that has been remade into a restaurant. Southern-style cajun/creole breakfast fare. There is also a Boulder location, but the Longmont location doesn't have as much of a line and the outdoor patio is nice in the summer. You must order the HUGE fluffy biscuits and smother... more

This is one of my favorite places to eat bar none. There are so many good things that they make themselves, buttery syrup, hot sauce, seasoning, spicy kethcup, spiced tea, on and on. The food is good. The atmosphere is cozy yet trampled and you wonder if the seat you are sitting in will fall apart at any moment. It's fun enough until you see the owner degrade his staff. It definitely loses something from there. more
