I am a resident of Chicago and for kicks I thought I'd see what restaurants were highly rated on trip advisor. I was shocked to see Pequods on this list. I strongly advise anyone with tastebuds to pick up a copy of Zagats rather then rely on trip advisor for food advice. I LOVE TRIP ADVISOR but Pequods wouldn't even... more

Good pizza. They tend to go really light on the tomate sauce on their thin crusts, so you feel more like you're eating a cheesey bread. more

The deep dish pizza and cold beer were PERFECT for a night out while visiting Chicago. One thing - the thin crust is a waste of money. You are in Chicago - go all out and get the deep dish! It's worth the wait. more

My friend, who is a Chicago native, took my wife and I to Pequods for dinner one night based on his recommendation. I'm glad he did. The pizza here was great! The sauce especially was outstanding.
