We were skeptical of the rave reviews but after going to 4th St., wholeheartedly agree, this is the best restaurant we have visted in Reno. We go to Reno twice a year and have been to most of the well known places but none come close to 4th street. Though the exterior is "rough" the inside is all sparkle. Great... more

The 4th Street Bistro is the best restaurant in Reno. The service is alway first class...but the food is beyond compare. Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. I have traveled all over the world and I have to say the 4th Street Bistro compares well to the best restaurants in Paris and Buenos Aires. more

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends at the relaxing and comfortable 4 Street Bistro . The excellant food and service reminded us of our favorite small places in France . We will definitely return . more

I just had dinner there - the salad special with goat cheese almonds (?) and strawberries was fantastic. The Mahi-mahi with mango was very good, it came with sugar snap peas that were cooked to perfection, still just a bit crisp, and the rhubarb orange crumble with strawberry buttermilk ice cream was to die for. There is an extensive wine... more

This restaurant works very hard to give the best meals possible. The staff is extremely professional, correct yet super-friendly and the chef really tries to use the best possible, freshest ingredients, local if possible. The food combinations are well-thought out. It's an impressive restaurant -- and that impression doesn't come cheap. There's a good wine list, and the staff is... more

Ignoring these negative reviews and intrigued by the good ones, I set out for this charmer situated a few minutes west of downtown. If there were a Zagat for Reno, this would be one of their top picks, for sure. My wild mushroom tart was superb and the duck breast on yam and spinach very good. Service was a bit... more

Please ignore the negative reviews. I have been about 5 times and have always had a great time. We usually start with a white peach bellini cocktail. I have written elsewhere about the mind blowing fois gras appetizer. The menu is seasonal and creative and delicious. The atmosphere is warm with great service. This is my favorite special spot in... more

Wow. This place is amazing. The food is locally sourced and spectacular, from Moroccan scallops to smoked fish salad to bitter sweet chocolate tart. Service is wonderful and very friendly, despite our youth and casual dress amongst the mostly older and well dressed crowd. more

We have been going to this restaurant for dinner a couple of times a year for the past five or six years. It is always excellent with outstanding service and exqusite food. It is a small, quiet, unpretentious restaurant in an old home located on the west side of town. If you are in a hurry or looking for a... more

I took my wife there for her birthday in August. The plan for the night...dinner at 4th St. Bistro, then off to another location for a surprise party and drinks. I needed to know what time to have everyone gather at the Imperial, so I called 4th St to ask how long I should expect for dinner...some places just take... more
