This is a great find and an unexpected treat. At first glance, a german restaurant in Hawaii may seem paradoxical, but it works very well. The town of Waimea is high enough in altitude that the temperature, weather and terrain are more representative of a mountain climate than the lava/beach terrain at sea level.
