Being from Texas and quite particular about my mexican (and with a picky 10 yr old) ... we both give the nods to Cholos. Their maragaritas are tasty, if only they were less icy and more smooth in texture. I made 2 visits in a four day period. more

Being from California, I know what Mexican food is. This place, for being on an island in the middle of the Pacific gets it right. I guess, they are the Baja California Mexican, as someone above mentioned it wasn't Tex Mex. Oh, they get the margaritas right, too. more

Cholo's is a good Mexican restaurant, the food is tasty while not overly spiced. The margaritas are the best, if you like to have a good time this is the place to be, it is packed but worth it. more

Cholo's had a good set up, very good drinks, but the drinks were expensive and the food was pretty bland...but it was okay...but they could have added more flavor to the meals more
