If you have eaten Italian in NYC or Chicago, much less Italy, you'll be disappointed here. You will be pleasantly surprised if you order steak - especially garlic steak, and steak fries - they are surprisingly good. more

Saputo's is a family-owned Italian restaurant and has been in business at the same location since 1948. This was arguably the WORST restuarant I've eaten in in 20 years, and definitely the WORST ITALIAN RESTAURANT. After this searing experience, I may never return to Springfield! All in all, my family was disappointed with our dinner at Saputos. The owner, (who happened to seat us) set the tone for the dining experience.
