I am crazy about Indian food, and the India Palace has never dissappointed. We have eaten there many times, and are always pleased. The Butter Chicken is out of this world. We have eaten the buffet lunch at India Palace in Albuquerque many times - perhaps 100 times in the last ten years. It is consistently excellent but they have not been afraid to make changes and improvements. The saag paneer is a special favorite - don't skip it. more

We moved to New Mexico 5 years ago from the SF Bay Area. Despite the snobbery of coasterners, Albuquerque actually offers almost every type of dining you can find near San Francisco (just many fewer choices). We lived in Abq for five years and India Palace was one of our absolute favorites for take-out. (We never actually dined at the restaurant, so I can't comment on the service.) It compares favorably to any Indian restaurant in the Southwest. Certainly Flagstaff, Las Vegas and Phoenix restaurants aren't nearly as good on food quality and/or service.
