I would recommend a cruise; We took our 14 year old and he said that it surpassed all the other holidays, including Disney and Europe. March tends to be spring break for the US colleges and university. For Canadians it is spring break for all elementary and High school students. The prices are tripled during that time as are the flights. We have opted for a cruise because we have been fortunate to get cruises that were relatively inexpensive. For kids they can eat all day and they have so much to do from swimming; basketball etc. They can also do activities at the ports. We book with vacationstogo.com; I then search cruisecritics to see who they recommend as locals providing activities. Sometimes you have to book directly through the cruise because of their contract agreement. Don't book a carnival cruise, they tend to be big party cruises during that time. We had a ship full of 21-25 year olds(85%). Princess was great and they have great food.
