I am looking for somewhere to go for me and my boyfriend. We are 30 and 28 years old. We want an all inclusive somewhere with beautiful beaches, we are active so we would like to experience watersports etc, and a decent night life somewhere in the town. We want to go to the caribbean but I am wondering about the huricanes. Finally something that wont absolutley kill the savings. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Americans are very welcome in Cuba...you just have to find a city in Canada to fly out of. Cuba does not stamp passports unless you ask for it to be stamped. Varadero is a wonderful place to go.

You could also look for Nassau and Cancun as your gateways to fly to Cuba.

But it is true that it is not legal under the OFAC regulations.

But you will not be the first Americans coming..not the last ones IMO.

you may not even know that most Americans in Cuba are Americans because they usually won't advertise it; and most that are there legally wont be doing the AI resort scene.

There is alot of free thinking americans that travel to Cuba and stay at the AI. They have nothing to hide in Cuba and the Cuban people we talked to liked the Americans that go there and welcome them. Not all Americans believe in the Embargos.
