OK - first timers here...our first full day. We arrived yesterday (a little late and some some minor room problems - all handeled within 30 minutes of arrival). This place is AMAZING! Seriously, I told Dave to go home next week and pack and send our stuff and dogs here, while I stay and look for a bartending job. Nelson at the pool bar is fantastic, the staff is ALL extremely friendly. Lea - Diana leaves for holiday on the 27th, and says hi! What have we been drinking? Mamajuana shots with every drink order, Rum Punch, tried Coco Loco today - its too damn good! And I tip $3US with every drink order (I'm the only one tipping) because I'm a bartender. Is the room clean? Absolutely! There are swans and hibiscus flowers all over our room! How's the food? Terrible! So Terrible in fact that after dinner last night we split a second entree. The Carpaccio - is the best I've had, and I eat it a LOT! How's the weather? Perfect! Mosquitos - Haven't had any bites and we sat by the pool with some new friends until after midnight...without wearing any OFF (I was drunk) - What the hey - I'm drunk now! Cheers to one and all - off to nap before dinner! We dropped a TON of school supplies at Steve's Today! |

Been to PC three times already.......absolutely beautiful!! Going in a couple of months.......grown children are going for their first time with us to the Princess......can't wait! Keep us posted with regard to your wellness......VERY concerned about the illness that so many are reporting. Got sick several years ago at the Melia.......it was a long trip home!! We did learn to stay away from certain foods and that did help. These are huge hotel chains......it's too bad that they can't get a grip on the food thing. Enjoy your trip!! | ||||||

Howdy guys- Another beautiful morning - hasn't rained since we arrived. Sitting in the lobby, with a peacock just feet away - both of us enjoying paradise! The water temp has got to be close to 80F. Went to Towers Casino last night and broke even. Those who say not to expect Vegas are 100% accurate. There are maybe 40 slots and teh rest are tables. American favorites like Double Diamond, Super Jackpt Party, Red White & Blue (nickels to $5 slots). Nelson at the pool bar is our new best friend! We're doing the Speedboat excursion this afternoon, and will let you know how it is. Cheers! Antonio n Dave | ||||||
