RatDog, Bob Weir's solo project will be doing a four day stint at Grand Lido January 28-February 1 2009...much like Little Feat used to do their thing there - it's an excuse for us to extend our normal two month stay by a couple of weeks!

I love seeing Reggae everywhere in Jamaica but I also love seeing Rock n' Roll on the beach!

Sweet! Saw RatDog here in Norfolk last fall. Great show. Hadn't seen Bob in about 15 years. He looked right at me as if to say "where you been?"

wow... this looks like it will be interesting... maybe I could get in more music than I bargained for in early 2009...

I checked out the info & am I reading correctly regarding the price ??? $1,629 for the cheapest accomodations (4 nights) and that is per person?!?!?! That is like $400+ per night, per person... I must be reading it incorrectly.

I also just sent an email to the gal noted asking if I can come in & pay for the show without staying/paying for accommodations... the answer is probably "no" but I thought I'd ask.

WOW! Bobby on the beach! If it will be open to the public vs. only to Lido guests, I'm there. Will check back for answers. Thanks for posting this!

omi goodness! now this is definately an excuse to go to Jamaica. how can it get any better, then Jamaica and RatDog. i am young but a fan, my first dead show was Gerry's last in chi town, but have seen phil and bob about 10x! Ok i am in the process of convincing hubby to go in october for a wedding but i think i might have to switch dates or could i convince of both? i already convinced him to quit smoking so we could go to jamaica once a year, now all this added on top that, maybe i can convince him to ride his bike to work to save gas $! thanks rasta for the info. my mind is working over time to figure this one out!!!!

I think Frosty is reading it correct. A little over $400/night for one based on doube occupancey, so 800/night for the room. Kinda priced like Jerry willl be there or something.

It's Grand Lido....it's not cheap.

Little Feat doesn't allow non guests to come for the shows and they do not sell night passes those nights, I suspect Ratdog will be the same.
