Hello again,

If you spend multiple days at atlantis, would you get bored there after seeing everything there a few times over again? Is there anything else to do in Bahamas besides the Atlantis? Or is it a bad idea to go off the resort? Just curious and again thanks so much.

Your supposed to be bored on a beach vacation. It's not likely to happen at Atlantis.

Its not like you are stuck. You can take a cab any time you want. also there are tons of excursions. It takes a few days at atlantis to do everything.Margate is right. Laying by that beautiful turquoise water is heaven. I didnt want to leave it. Isnt that the point of a beach vacation?

There's plenty to do on and off the compound. From Spas and pottery classes to snorkeling tours, ATV and Seqway tours of Nassau, Historical tours including forts and the watertowers, Junkanoo Rush, stingrays and dolphins, shark snorkeling trips, private island getaways, day trips to other island via the BoHengy (bahamasferries.com) Powerboat adventure to Exuma with shark wrangling, iguanas and other island adventures. Golf, tennis, bssketball etc.

You could stay a month or two and not get bored. Just do your homework. You don't have to stay on the property the whole time. Nassau is just 10 minutes away.

...is it a dad idea to go off resort? It's not a third world country. It's very safe if you stay in the downtown area. Do your research and you'll find there's tons to do that has not even been mentioned on this post.

We were there 4 nights the first time and never once got bored. This time I have made a list and mapped out the area of the resort we missed last time and we walked the whole place. The place is huge. It is tough to get bored. If you do just go to downtown Nassau and go to the straw marker or see downtown or go on an excursion.

My husband and I are the types to always keep busy and we weren't bored for a second. We booked 6 nights this time to really feel like we saw it all!

This is not the place to stay if you want to be bored.

You can relax if you want to....but there is always too much to do.

We find very little time to NOT do anything!

However if you prefer to experience cultural activities on your vacation, you will be bored. It's great if you don't have a lot of interests in life.
