your comparison question...I didn't stay at the Pueblo Bonito Rose Cabo San Lucas but was at the pool and beach there...we stayed at a sister hotel so we had the right to use.....anyway the location of the Rose is walking distance to down town..If I was going to Cabo again that is where I would like to stay...the Location of the MP to downtown is a 20-30 taxi.........we were just at the Grand Mayan last week and we hung out by the pool near the MP and we didn't hear any construction noise.....we just booked a week at the Mayan Palace for the beginning of Nov......

We own at the MP and at SB PB. The SB units are more luxurious, but the MP overall is better hands down. The grounds at the MP/GM are some of the best.

Regarding the construction, yes, it's going on. The replacement bldg isn't expected to be completed for a few yrs. But the pool area and beach is so large, you can go to the end of the pool and not hear it at all!

There are more amenities at the MP complex compared to the Rose and SB (we've stayed at Rose once before we bought at SB).

momtopets is correct regarding the fact it is further from the bay. I've always found that to not be a problem, though.
