paulajean -

Never heard of it before, but here's some info which might be helpful.

Also known as "Casa Duo", it's located about 8 miles west of the airport - in a neighborhood-area called "Las Brisas" (near the hotel which bears the same name as the neighborhood).

Here's a website - with some photos and testimonials - which you might want to take a look at (if you've not already seen it before). Sounds/looks like a nice villa. Let us know how you make out ... ?

Dear RonVal,

Yes, this is the villa I was referring to...have you stayed here or do you know anyone who has?

Thanks!

No, we haven't ... and we know of no one who has.

As I stated above ... "never heard of it before". There are so many villa rentals in ACA - in addition to the nearly 250 hotels - that we're always learning of someplace new. Just posted the above info for reference purposes ... hoping it would be of some help.

If you've not been to Acapulco before (and are unfamiliar with its layout) - location-wise, "Las Brisas" is in an "upscale/exclusive" section of the city ... about 3.5 miles from the mid-Bay area ... along the Bay's eastern curve. Many of the villas in that area offer stunning views of both the Bay and the city.

Aside from all that ... can't say anything else about the villa itself. Perhaps someone else will spot your post and be able to add more detail.

This is a nice villa. Not the Ritz, the staff is excellent, be sure to tip them well.

The replies are all from 2000 or 2002 ???

If it has been maintained it is a steal for that price...sounds unreal for L:B:

but upkeep, updating and maintenance here is very important and makes all the difference!!

The comment that resurrected this discussion sounds a bit like the person who's pimping for the taxi driver.
