I am an indian resident and would be travelling to nice in September. We plan to visit monaco for a day trip, can someone plz suggest if we can visit monaco for a day trip on a schenegan visa

Yes, there are no border checks into Monaco as it has agreements with France. You'd only have trouble if you decided to stay for longer than 3 months.
