My husband and I will be driving from Dingle Town to Doolin later this month and I would appreciate tips on the best route to take. How long it will take if we stop to visit the Cliffs of Moher on the way? Thanks for any help you can offer.

You might find :

useful.

I would say budget an hour for the cliffs, you'll pass right in front of them midway between Lahinch (you do not enter Lahinch, turn right at Santa Maria (?) B&B) on the approach to Lahinch.

About a mile after the cliffs, (next turn right after the stone cutters kitchen) you'll notice a cycle sign, take this for a short cut into Doolin - with amazing views over Doonagore tower.

Hope that this helps.

hi Seattle, Spokane here. We'll be smae place, leaving this Sunday. Plan on 4 hour trip including the Mohr stop. This is just taking it easy and adding more stops along the way. I read that taking the ferry at Tarbert saves time and then corssing occonor (is that right?) pass is very scenic way to drop into Dingle.
