hi mark, there are several travel offices dotted throughout the village who will arrange car hire etc, not sure about quad bikes, but did see a few whizzing around so would think they will hire them, i always hire in pefkos a short bus ride away as i get a better deal there, leaving a few nore shekels for a bevvy or two, cheers

I too would advise that you hire in Pefkos where there are several hire outfits, therefore prices can be a bit keener.

I would avoid the quadbike or scooter - great fun possibly but zero protection from the sun and from other road users. A car gives you comport, aircon, security, and plenty of room to carry your stuff around. Also, some of the island's top sights are a reasonable distance away from Lindos and IMO, too far to contemplate on a scooter or quad.

I'm with GB, scooter and quad hire not recommended. If you do decide to hire make sure you have the correct insurance as you will find most insurance now doesn't cover you for scooter hire, you have to get extra cover.

Pefkos is about 5km from Lindos, so a bit of a hike! There is a bus that runs from the road above Lindos it runs regularly during the day.

For car hire in Lindos I can recommend Rodos cars, excellent service, reasonable and reliable.

hi marc, pefkos as babs says is a bit of a hike i had a failed attempt in july lol. i think the 2 sas guys i seen walking just about made it, get the bus,im a biker in uk, and have done the scooter/m/bike hing in rhodes,def not recommended, cheers
