I am looking to take my best friend out for a days papering in Canberra when visiting later this month, can anyone recommend a good beautician/spa? I'd like for both of us to be treated at the same time, so needs to have at least two therapists, looking for a nice massage a facial and a pedicure.

I'm afraid I can't make any personal recommendations as I've never been to a day spa. There are a few suburban ones but I'm guessing they wouldn't quite be what you're after. The one at our local shops looks nice enough but not very big and the shopping centre location is nothing special to make the trip worthwhile. I don't know where you're staying but I found two day spas in the city centre. The first one makes a point of saying that it offers couple and group packages.

Elleebana in Phillip do student beauty services at half the price but just as good (if not better that their qualified counterparts) They only do it on certain days so ring before hand, it used to be on Thursdays and Saturdays.

there are good places in the city - floressence at Braddon, Mud at the Hotel Realm (although expensive), endota spa, etc

possibly the nicest is Geranium House - need a car as it is outside Canberra in the countryside at Hall. And it will only take the two of you at the same time. There will be no-one else there.
