Port Stephens on my own |

Just doing some research for a 3 night trip from Sydney in January. I am thinking of heading up to Port Stephens. However, as I am on my own I thought I might stay in a hostel so I can meet people. The two hostels I have found are Melaleuca at One Mile Beach and a YHA which doesn't look like it's near the sea. Has anyone stayed at these or does anyone know the area? Was thinking of Melaleuca but not sure if there is anything (shops/restaurants/bars) nearby. Looks like Nelson Bay may be the best place to stay but can't see any hostels there? It would be great if someone could help me!!! Report as inappropriate |
