Just returned from our trip. I would highly recommend the K Bar S Lodge in Keystone. The setting was beautiful, the rooms and lodge were immaculate and the breakfast was great. The lodge is just minutes from the strip in Keystone and only about 5-10 minutes from Rushmore. We also stayed at the Best Western in Spearfish. I would probably stay there again as well, although if the Spearfish Canyon Lodge was available, we would have stayed there.
