My wife and two children ( 9 and 11 )will be visiting Anaheim the second week of July. We are planning on staying at the Anaheim Doubletree hotel and Suites (close to Disney)and was wondering if anybody has heard anything good or bad about this place? Also does the ART (I beleive it's Anaheim Rapid Transit) run pretty good to and from this hotel and how much does it cost for tickets? Any help / advice would be appriciated.

The DoubleTree on Harbor is currently the #1 rated hotel (out of 100) in Anaheim here at TripAdvisor.

Click on the Hotels in the upper left to read the reviews.

And yes, the DoubleTree is part of the ART system...

It is basically a form of Public Transporation, but is pretty reliable. I have seen a few complaints, but usually more positive than negative.

The Adult Fare is $3 a day, kids 3-9 are $1 a day, and there are discounts for multi-day tickets, the full fare list is posted in the above link.

Some folks opt to walk instead of using the ART, the walk is just around 1 mile from the Lobby to the Main Entrance Plaza at Disneyland.
