Do you run the Green Parrot?

I have looked at it. It doesnt look like there is a swimming pool at this resort.

Also does anyone know if it is safe to drive from belize city to Placencia. I am sure it is but I wanted confirmation.

Many great options to consider in Placencia with good beach and a pool, either close to further from the village, depending on your budget. Grat day trips for sea and land activities, including Mayan sites, rainforest, hiking, wildlife and more.

Can you swim in the ocean on the maya beach or is better to be farther down?

I am also looking at the Nautical Inn. What do you think about that one?

Swimming is lovely at Maya Beach and all along the peninsula. I've not been to or booked anyone at Nautical in years, so can't help with info about it.

We stayed at Robert's Grove and loved the beach! It is cleaned daily and has soft white sand. The water is shallow, about 50 yards out it is only 3 feet deep. There is some sea grass, but not a lot. You can boogie board, swim, kayak etc from their beach.
