If you're looking for a serene and beautiful place for a romantic getaway, this one is it. I was here for a week and couldn't find anything wrong except for the friggin bugs (which are a problem anywhere you stay). Very nice, quiet accomodations with cool evening breezes (especially when it rains). The staff at Palmetto Bay Resort is outstanding and the food is better than anything you can get in "town". The Chef at Palmetto Bay Resort knows what he is doing. Don't be afraid to try his Lasagna. It is the BEST!!!! Linda Kay at Tropic Island Villa
