Hello everybody,

I am getting married in late August and planning the honeymoon for the first half of September. Can anyone tell me about the weather conditions at the Seychelles, where is better to stay to avoid winds and low tides? I can't work it out since from guides and magazines you get always different answers! ps any other suggestion is welcome!

thank you!!

Stella, The tide changes twice a day - not sure where you could stay to avoid the low tide - perhaps away from the coast? :P

As for the wind it refuses to be contained either and usually just blows everywhere. What are you really hoping to avoid or what exactly is your concern - I'm not sure I understand?

The Seychelles is outside the hurricane belt so that's not a concern.

The Seychelles weather is all year round sunny, hot & humid. There isn't much of a seasonality so all year around is almost the same. And each island even Mahe is small enough that if you get rained on while sitting on a beach hop into your mini-moke and drive ten minutes to another beach where it will be sunny. Or just wait the rain out it doesn't last long and is often a relief from the heat.
