I have been reading all the posts on Burkina Faso, as I intend to travel there with my children and family and friends. I come from Ghana, though I have lived in Canada for a long time. I would like to know what you would recommend that we visit while in Ouaga and its surrounding area. Also, because we will be many and some of us will not want to spend too much on accommodation, where would you recommend that we stay? Can we rent a house? And how much would it cost? How much notice would we need to give? How many rooms? Any information is welcome. We will be coming by bus from Ghana, what do you recommend for transportation in and around Ouaga, and what will it cost? Is it safe to bring a car into Ouaga, and would that be better. What would we need to cross the border? What about a guide? How much would that cost? Sorry about all the questions, but I want to see Burkina from a more 'local perspective'. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
