Yes, you can find wireless internet in a couple of the hotels and if you are lucky you can connect to an open connection in some places.

The mobile phone companies also provide wireless internet acces although it is fairly expensive. Celtel probably has the best coverage. The initial cost there is US$ 200 and then $50 per month. You find them at 42 Main Motor Road, Wilberforce in Freetown (there are two Main Motor Roads, the other is in the Congo Cross area).

There are also many small internet cafés everywhere. I have not tried any but they are said to be OK, at least most of them.

Sorry, I don't know anything in detail about the internet cafés as I have not visited any.

Do you know in what part of Freetown you are going to stay? Maybe I can check some in that area the next couple of days.
