It widely depends on what you are looking for. Bogota is a spectacular modern city, with lots of attractions and stuff to do. However, if you are looking for a beach you might prefer to visit Cartagena or San Andres Island. Spirit offers flights to both Cartagena and Bogota and AirTran to San Andres.

Bogota is the nicest city of Colombia, it counts with the most modern infrastucture and developed landmarks. It is an enchanting city, with a nice weather, extremely happy and welcoming people and everything one would look for in a perfect destination. Bogotas surrounding are even nicer such as the department of Boyaca, but with such a short time it is difficult to fit it all in. The culinary and cultural experiences that Bogota has to offer are outstanding and extremely varied. Youll definetely find what you are looking for as their is something for even the most demanding of tastes.
